So let’s go outside, where Jesus is, where the action is—not trying to be privileged insiders, but taking our share in the abuse of Jesus. This “insider world” is not our home. We have our eyes peeled for the City about to come...Make sure you don’t take things for granted and go slack in working for the common good; share what you have with others. God takes particular pleasure in acts of worship—a different kind of “sacrifice”—that take place in kitchen and workplace and on the streets. (Hebrews 13, The Message)

WOrship in Action from home
Grab the Sunday paper or your phone and your Bible, read a couple of Psalms, then a news story. From a space Informed by the psalms you read, pray for the story.
Perhaps this is a Sunday when you need time at home and in your neighborhood to rest, reach out to a neighbor, take a walk in nature, garden, write a letter, create. We would love to hear your ideas of how you’ve discovered ways to worship in action. .
Luke 6:27-38

Fourth Sundays, Worship in Action, are an invitation to live and worship with imagination and hope, providing a way for us to come alongside our neighbors in South Lake Union, in our individual neighborhoods, and beyond. They are ever-expansive, and we hope that you can live into worship in action holistically, as a whole person, loving God and neighbor as yourself every day of the week.
